Active tally rises to double digit

Imphal, November 09 2022:
Number of Covid-19 active cases in the state rose to 10 on Wednesday with government bulletins reporting one new recovery and three new positive cases from out of 108 samples tested in the last 24 hours with 2.8 per cent positivity rate.
The three fresh cases (2 males & 1 female) are residents of Bishnupur, Imphal East and Imphal West districts.
Out of the 10 active cases, six are in home isolation.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,897 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 400 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,47,753, out of which 13,34,675 have received the second dose and 2,75,482 precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49841), Imphal East (32063), Thoubal (10298), Churachandpur (11291), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9986), Senapati (2547), Ukhrul (3370), Kakching (6980), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1057), and Pherzawl (477) .
Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (712), Imphal East (517), Thoubal (192), Churachandpur (169), Kangpokpi (70), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (206), Senapati (13), Ukhrul (52), Kakching (124), Chandel (43), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (17), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5), and Pherzawl (0) .
