Imphal, January 20 2021: One day joint session of the President of MPCC Govindas Konthoujam, DCCs, and president of BCC held today at Congress Bhavan has resolved to fight anti people policy of the BJP led Government both at the Center and the State.

The session also resolved to fight all the fascist forces suppressing the voice of the people.

The one-day joint session was attended by CLP leader O Ibobi, CWC member Gaikhangam, President of the MPCC Govindas Konthoujam , former president of the MPCC TN Haokip and former President of the MPCC M Okndro as dignitaries on the dais.

Speaking on the occasion, CWC member Gaikhangam hit hard to the present ruling body stating that those speaking the Congress party may have some downfall but it is regaining to its status once more.

"I feel pity for those who talk like as if Congress party has been totally dead", he said.

The former deputy chief minister further said that in politics one may go one may come however, the Congress party will remain.

"Congress party is different from other; it is a party which has the commitment to safeguard Democracy.

MPCC President Govindas while speaking at the occasion appealed party member not to lose hope as people today have started trusting the party as it is a secular and democratic party which have its commitment to protect the people of the country.
