Photo Exhibition on "Saaf Niyat Sahi Vikas" begins in Aizawl

Focusing on the achievements of "Four Years of NDA Government" at the centre, a five-day long Photo Exhibition on the theme "Saaf Niyat Sahi Vikas" began at Chawlhhmun Community Hall in Aizawl this afternoon.
The exhibition which is being organised by the Field Outreach Bureau, Aizawl under the aegis of Regional Outreach Bureau, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India, Imphal will go on till August 31 .
Inaugurating the exhibition, Dr A Mathumma, IAS, Deputy Commissioner, Aizawl said that the NDA Government under the Prime Ministership of Narendra Modi has taken various welfare schemes and programmes for the welfare of the people during the last four years.
Citing the example of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) - the world's largest financial inclusion program - the Deputy Commissioner said that 98 per cent of the people in Mizoram are now having having bank account in their names.
She exhorted the people to study the displayed photographs in details so as to have to a deeper understanding of the various welfare schemes being launched by the Central Government and to avail the benefit of such schemes and programmes.
Commenting on the exhibition, Dr A Mathumma said that "The exhibition is well organised with informative photographs on the achievements of the various flagship schemes of the Government of India" .
Earlier, delivering the Welcome Address, Gin Gangte, Field Exhibition Officer, Field Outreach Bureau, Imphal said that the exhibition is being organised to disseminate information to the public on the various flagship schemes and programmes as well as to highlight the achievements of the NDA Government during the last four years.
The inaugural program was also attended by Wonchan Ramsan, Head of Progamme, DDK Aizawl; S Rimai, Field Publicity Assistant (FPA), Field Outreach Bureau (FOB), Aizawl; H Lalnunsema, Chairman of Chawlhhmun Local Council; Maruata, President, Young Mizo Association (YMA), Chawlhhmun Branch; teachers; large number of students and public.
Large number of students and public visited the exhibition hall during and after the inauguration.
