Imphal, December 07 2020: The Manipur units of Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India (Marxist), Revolutionary Socialist Party and All India Forward Bloc have extended their solidarity with the farmers agitation and support to the ongoing massive agitation by Kisan organisations from all over the country against the new Agri laws - Farmer's Produce Trade and Commerce (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill 2020 , The Farmers ( Empowerment and Protection) Agreement on Price Assurance and Farm Services Bill 2020, The Essential Commodities Bill (Amendment) 2020 .

A joint statement said that the Left parties extend support to the call given by them for a Bharat Bandh on December 8 , 2020 .

The statement also condemn the RSS/BJP's campaign, on preposterous charges, against the struggle of our annadatas to safeguard Indian agriculture and the country's food security and demand for scrapping of the three Agri laws and the Electricity (Amendment) Bill, 2020 .

All India Federation of University and College Teachers organisation (AIFUCTO) also support the " Bharat Bandh" call on December 8 by the All India Kishan Sangharsh coordination Committee and Joint Committee of Punjab Kishan.

A statement said that the demand for scrapping of agricultural laws, Electricity Amendment Bill 2020 and legislation guaranteeing MSP are reasonable.

They have rightly raised their concern against the collaborative conspiracy of corporate with World Finance Capital to hand over the agricultural sector to the whims and caprice of the market forces.

This will result in untold miseries to the farmers of our nation.

AIFUCTO showed solidarity to the farmers to stand resolute and United on their convinced stand despite the stubborn and undemocratic attitude of NDA Government at centre on the behest the corporate and monopoly capitalism.

AIFUCTO said this Bandh Program as a Golden opportunity to thwart the clandestine design of the Government of India to use pan epidemic Corona as a shield to liquidate all democratic resistance and to implemented their economic agenda of Liberalisation, Privatisation and Globalization.
