Kimacs holds State Level Manipuri Dance Competition

The 3rd Kimacs State Level Inter School Manipuri Dance Competition on Manipuri Patriotic Song 2026 was organised by the Kanglei Indigenous Martial Arts and Cultural Society.
The competition was held at Bhagyachandra Open Air Theatre, Palace Compound on the theme "Let us stand firm to protect our society".
Several dignitaries attended the programme including Art and Culture Minister Khuraijam Loken, Wangkhei AC MLA Thangjam Arunkumar, Joint Director of Art and Culture G Dharmadas and KIMACS vice president Thangjam Suraj.
Speaking on the occasion, Khuraijam Loken lauded KIMACS for organising the dance competition, stating it is a commendable step that will greatly inspire the younger generation.
He said the culture and sports of the State have given Manipur recognition across the world.
He appreciated the efforts of KIMACS in promoting culture among the youth and making them fully aware of their heritage.
