Edibles distributed; medical kits presented to Yairipok CHIC

Bishnupur, July 05 2021: Bishnupur MLA and MPCC president Govindas Konthoujam on Monday distributed edibles to 45 households in Nachou, which has been declared as containment zone, through Bishnupur Polling Development Committee.

Committee secretary Kh Ningthouremba, joint secretaries L Shyamjai and L Kaoba Singh participated in the distribution.

In this regard, Committee secretary Kh Ningthouremba Singh said that further assistance will be provided to those affected by Covid-19 pandemic.

THOUBAL: Under the sponsorship of Sewa Canada and Oxygen Langar, Sewa Bharati Manipur in association with Social Worker Kharibam Jivan of Charangpat donated Oxygen Concentrator, Oxygen Mask and Nasal Cannula to the Community Home Isolation Centre (CHIC) opened at Yairipok Bishnunaha under Wangkhem AC on Monday.

Speaking on the occasion, Sewa Bharati Manipur Coordinator retired Lt General L Nishikanta (LN Singh) said that the 125 Oxygen Concentrators and others were donated by Sewa Bharati Manipur, while conveying that another 40 Oxygen concentrators donated by SEWA Canada and an ambulance are on their way to the state.

He then urged all concerned to get vaccinated to stay protected against Covid-19 .

KAKCHING: BJP Youth's Party Pallel and Covid Task Force Pallel members under the sponsorship of Khuraijam Enterprises proprietor K Haridas on Monday handed over edibles to Pallel police station OC Matum Singh Heishnam and Commando Pallel Unit OC Kshetrimayum Prakash.

Similarly, Lok Jana Shakti Party's youth wing Dalit Sena Manipur president Nongmaithem Sanjay, State general secretary Khundrakpam Kanba Meitei and Kakching Khunou Municipal Council former vice chairperson Khumukcham Gojendro Singh provided edibles to Covid-19 affected households of Hiyanglam AC, Lamsang AC and Kakching Khunou Ward No.8 respectively.
