Imphal, June 03 2021: As random testing of curfew violators continued on Thursday in different parts of the state, 39 positive cases were found out of 523 samples collected from curfew violators in five valley districts on Thursday.

For Imphal West district, the test was conducted at Paona Keithel area under City PS.

Altogether 236 people were tested and 19 were found positive.

In Imphal East, 14 curfew violators were tested at Konung Mamang and all samples returned negative.

Similarly, 50 samples were tested in Bishnupur district and no positive case was found.

Thoubal district reported 17 positive cases out of 100 curfew violators tested while Kakching district reported two positive cases out of 123 curfew violators whose samples were tested.
