Imphal, February 19 2025: To provide essential eye care services to the local community, Assam Rifles organized a medical camp at Tengnoupal today.

According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), the eye examinations, screenings for common eye conditions and expert referrals for further treatment were carried out at the camp.

A total of 151 men, 101 women and 98 children benefited from this initiative.

A dedicated team of healthcare professionals from Assam Rifles and Civil Authorities worked together to ensure villagers received quality and accessible eye care.

By addressing vision-related issues and spreading awareness, this initiative aims to improve the quality of life for the local population and strengthen the bond between security forces and the community.
