Kpi DH lauds medical aid extended to it

Kangpokpi, May 18 2021:
The authority of Kangpokpi district hospital (DH) has expressed profound gratitude to Dr Elangbam Bishwajeet, Consultant Emergency Medicine, Birmingham, UK and his friends from across the world for donating essential medical items to the district hospital.
Dr Paotinlal Haokip, Medical Superintendent of Kangpokpi DH, informed that Dr Bishwajeet and his benevolent friends from different parts of the world including Manipur, Tripura, Bangalore, Malaysia, UAE, Switzerland, Netherlands, Italy, France and United Kingdom generously donated COVID-19 related essential medical items to the hospital which were received on Tuesday.
He said that the essential medical items included 1000 surgical face masks (triple layer), 50 N95 face masks, 100 oxygen masks (adult), 100 infusion sets, 100 IV cannulas, 125 cannula fixators, 200 dexona injections, 100 bottles of normal saline and 100 bottles of Ringer's lactate.
While appreciating the benevolent act of Dr Bishwajeet and his friends, Dr Paotinlal said that such exemplary humanitarian gesture will give a strong message to the public to donate generously to the local hospital and will give a fillip to COVID-19 pandemic related activities in future.
On behalf of hospital administrators and personnel, he wished Dr Bishwajeet and friends good health and success in their future humanitarian endeavours.
