Moreh joins ILP stir

Moreh, September 06 2014 :
Joining the ongoing movement for implementation of Inner Line Permit system in Manipur, various social organizations in Moreh town inhabited by numerous communities including Meitei, Muslim, Kuki, Tamil and Bengali today organized a symposium cum public rally at the border town in response to the call of Joint Committee on Inner Line Permit System (JCILPS), Manipur.
Jointly organized by Kha Nongpok Apunba Nupi Lup, Nupi Khunai Chaokhat Lamjing Lup, Muslim Women Development Association and Minority Women Development Society, Moreh, the symposium was held at the complex of Eastern Shine School, Moreh with participation of many people including students.

Students of schools in Moreh including Eastern Shine School Moreh, Netaji Memorial English High School Moreh and St.
George English School Moreh took active part in the symposium cum rally.
Just after the symposium, the participants took out a public rally from Eastern Shine School and went through Moreh Hospital Road, national Highway 2, Moreh bazaar, Gate No.1, Dal Pati, Prem Nagar, Gate No.2, Nepali Basti, Muslim Nagar and Chavangphai.
