BJP manifesto after withdrawal date
Not going with npp as it is contesting against BJP: Bhupendra Yadav

Imphal, February 08 2022: Union Minister Bhupendra Yadav, who is also the election in-charge of Manipur, has announced that the election manifesto of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for the upcoming election is quite unique and it will be released after the end of withdrawal of nomination.

He also stated that BJP is not going with National People's Party (NPP) as the latter is contesting the elections against the former.

Responding to queries raised by newspersons during a press meet held at Thambal Shanglen of BJP, Nityaipat Chuthek here on Tuesday, Bhupendra Yadav said that the BJP's election manifesto is not prepared by the party alone, it is done by taking the suggestions of district councils, civil organisations, educationists, academicians, sportspersons, cultural academicians, etc., along with the manifesto committee and the leaders of the state party.

The manifesto of the party this time is quite unique in nature, considering its detailed manner of preparation, he added.

Presently, the candidates are busy filing their nomination papers and as such the wave of election campaign will increase after the end of the nomination withdrawal period.

The manifesto will then be released at that time instead of doing it in a hurry like other parties have done.

The manifestos, which are being released hurriedly will never be put into action, he remarked.

Replying to a question on whether a chief ministerial candidate will be projected for BJP, Bhupendra stated that the CM face will be decided by the Central Parliamentary Board.

"BJP is not in any pre-poll alliance with any political party.

The party is also not going with NPP at present as it (NPP) is contesting against us," he reiterated.

The union minister continued: "BJP will win absolute majority in the upcoming polls.

Manipur has developed significantly under the BJP government all due to PM Modi's vision that India cannot be fully developed without the development of the north east region.

Development is possible when there is peace and stability.

Thus, BJP is the only party which can maintain peace in Manipur".

He then informed that PM Modi and other union ministers will be visiting the state for campaigning.

With regard to the union budget, Bhupendra said that it will aid in development of agricultural industries and banking to taxation sectors.

This will help in generation of employment opportunities for the youth, while promoting green industries at the same time.

The budget also aims to include the farmers in the digital economy exclusively.

India's future economy is dependent on the IT sector and as such, private telecom companies would be of huge help regarding 5th generation of mobile technology.

The introduction of digital rupee in the finance sector would impact the finance sector heavily.

The setup of 880 GW solar power module in propagation of sustainable development sector and green energy would be a good step towards combating climate change, he added.
