Imphal, September 01 2024: A 4-day discussion programme on rites & rituals from birth to death performed by people following the Sanamahi religion concluded today at Manipur Dramatic Union hall in Yaiskul Police Lane.

The discussion programme was organised by the Amai-Piba Apul Lup Kangleipak (APAL Kangleipak).

The closing function was attended by Wangkhem AC MLA and MPCC president, Keisham Meghachandra; Organising Committee APAL chairman, Angomcha Mamou (Ibomcha); Thanga AC MLA, Thongbram Robindro and HRD Assistant Secretary, Ningtamba as presidium members.

A number of resolutions were taken during the 4-days long discours such as organising a People's Convention in the middle of 2025, submit the resolutions of the People's Convention to Uttra Sanglen, Sana Konung and Lainingthou Sanamahi Temple Board and request them to establish a uniform code for ritual practices under Sanamahi religion, etc.
