NPP constitutes Manipur Political and Election Coordination Committee

Imphal, October 23 2026: National People's Party (NPP) national president has constituted the Manipur Political and Election Coordination Committee to oversee the party's affairs in Manipur.

According to an order issued by the party, James P K Sangma, MP Rajya Sabha and national working president, NPP has been appointed as convenor, while Mmhonlumo Kikon, national general secretary (political), NPP has been appointed as co-convenor.

The Convenor and Co-convenor have been deputed to oversee and coordinate the party's political, organisational and electoral affairs in Manipur, with particular responsibility for preparations for the forthcoming Manipur Legislative Assembly elections.
