B'deshi girls detected

Pallel Police have arrested a woman identified as Samina (34) w/o Md Zakir of Lilong Mairenkhun IT Road along with four Bangladeshi girls including a minor during a routine checking and frisking at the Pallel Police gate on Jun 20 .
According to Superintendent of Police Kakching Victoria Yengkhom, the girls and the woman were travelling in a passenger van with registration no MN01S/3200 towards Moreh.
While conducting verification, the police could not establish communication with the girls.
They were found in possession of Aadhaar cards which indicated their domicile as Tripura.
When enquired about their travel mates, one man who accompanied them identified as Md Tomba alias Hefajur (22) was found missing while Samina was still there.
Sensing something fishy the police brought an interpreter and it was later established that the girls were from Bangladesh and they were heading to Malaysia via Moreh, said SP Victoria.
Three of the girls are above 18 years and one is a juvenile.
The Woman and the girls have been brought to Kakching Police Station and a case against them has been registered, said Victoria.
Md Tomba is son of Noor Rahman of Silchar and at present is a resident of Lilong Mairenkhul IT Road.
After investigation it is learnt that Md Tomba had earlier facilitated safe passage of two persons, informed the SP and urged people to inform the police about the whereabouts of the persons.
