Harmony in Action: Assam Rifles unites youth through National Integration pledge

Imphal, August 10 2025: In a heartfelt initiative to foster patriotism and national cohesion, Assam Rifles organised a series of National Integration Pledge Ceremonies across four prominent schools in the Sangaikot Sub Division of Churachandpur District, Manipur.

Held from August 5-8, 2025, the events were part of the Independence Day celebrations and aimed at nurturing a sense of unity, peace, and purpose among the youth.

According to a release issued by the IGAR (South), the ceremonies took place at KSO Public School, Agape High School, Rehoboth School, and Holy Trinity School, drawing enthusiastic participation of students and personnel of Assam Rifles.

The event was coordinated in close partnership with school authorities and local Civil Society Organisations, the initiative resonated deeply with the community, reflecting a shared commitment to harmony and progress.

The events commenced with the solemn recitation of the National Integration Pledge, followed by the singing of the National Anthem.

The atmosphere was charged with patriotic fervour as students stood united in their resolve to uphold the values of peace, brotherhood, and national pride.

Sweets were distributed to all participants, adding a celebratory touch to the occasion.

The initiative underscores Assam Rifles' unwavering dedication to promoting communal harmony and steering the youth away from divisive influences.
