State logs one fresh case

Imphal, October 03 2022:
The state on Monday reported one new positive case of Covid-19 from Kakching district out of 216 samples tested in the last 24 hours, thus recording, a positivity
rate of 0.5 per cent.
With no recovery on Monday, the number of active cases rose to 9, out of which, seven are in home isolation.
There are 38 vacant beds available in JNIMS and 62 in RIMS.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,816 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 151 D-type and 11 B-type oxygen cylinders were distributed to different health facilities and 235 vaccine doses administered on Sunday which increased the cumulative number of vaccinated population to 16,43,972, out of which 13,26,404 had received the second doses and 2,67,443 precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49819), Imphal East (32036), Thoubal (10293), Churachandpur (11285), Kangpokpi (3185), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9978), Senapati (2547), Ukhrul (3367), Kakching (6977), Chandel (2796), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1213), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1053), and Pherzawl (477) .
