Active tally falls to seven, one new case detected

Imphal, October 01 2022:
Number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state came down to 7 on Saturday as government bulletins reported three recoveries and one new positive case from Tengnoupal district out of 155 samples collected for testing from all over the state in the last 24 hours, thus, recording a positivity rate of 0.6 per cent.
Out of the seven active cases, five are in home isolation.
There are 38 vacant beds available in JNIMS and 62 in RIMS.
No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2148 including seven CAPF personnel.
So far, the virus has infected 1,39,811 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.
In the last 24 hours, 120 D-type and 12 B-type oxygen cylinders were made available to different health facilities and 548 vaccine doses administered increasing the cumulative number of vaccinated population to 16,43,874, out of which 13,26,198 had received the second dose and 2,67,190 precautionary doses.
As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49817), Imphal East (32035), Thoubal (10293), Churachandpur (11285), Kangpokpi (3185), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9978), Senapati (2547), Ukhrul (3367), Kakching (6976), Chandel (2796), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1213), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1053), and Pherzawl (477) .
