Assam Rifles extends aid to destitute children

The Assam Rifles conducted a philanthropic initiative aimed at supporting the Marao Orphanage and Destitute Upliflment Centre in Senapati district today.
As a part of the initiative, the Commandant Maram Battalion handed over essential items and financial assistance to the orphanage with an aim to enhance the educational resources available to the children and provide necessary support to the destitute children, said a statement by the Assam Rifles.
The Marao Orphanage and Destitute Upliftment Centre which serves as a safe haven for numerous destitute children, expressed profound gratitude for the assistance.
