Wangkhei MLA inaugurates Lamlong Keithel Ima Lairembi Shanglen

Imphal, February 19 2025: Wangkhei AC MLA Thangjam Arunkumar on Wednesday inaugurated the Lamlong Keithel Ima Lairembi Shanglen at Lamlong Keithel, Imphal East district.

Speaking on the occasion, Thangjam Arunkumar highlighted the historical and strategic importance of Lamlong Keithel which is a convenient marketplace for many women vendors who come from different parts of Imphal East & other districts.

He also called for collective effort to make Lamlong Keithel one of the most prominent markets in the State.

Lamenting that the prolonged conflict has severely affected the economic condition of Manipur, the MLA stressed on the need for everyone to work together to improve the economic condition of the State.

Lamlong Keithel Phambi Apunba Nupi Lup president RK Dhanabati, secretary W Ibochoubi and women vendors were also present at the inaugural function.
