Imphal, April 23 2024: Chief Scientist & Professor, Academy of Scientific & Innovative Research (AcSIR), North-East Institute of Science & Technology Huidrom Birkumar Singh called on Governor Anusuiya Uikey today at Raj Bhavan, Imphal and presented items produced by CSIR-NEIST and other medicinal plants.

He further shared on the techniques of planting medicinal plants, said a statement issued by the Governor's Secretariat.

Additionally, Manish Sablawat, president, Jain Vikash Mandal, Paona Bazar along with secretary and members also called on the Governor to extend their warm wishes on the occasion of Mahavir Jayanti.

Mahavir Jayanti is a significant festival in Jainism, celebrating the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavir.
