COVID-19 negative test reports no more mandatory for fully vaccinated people to enter State

Imphal, February 16 2022: The Health Department has notified that persons who have received the two doses of COVID-19 vaccine shall be permitted to enter Manipur on production of vaccination certificates at the entry points of the State.

A notification has been issued in this regard by the Deputy Secretary (Health & Family Welfare), Government of Manipur and it further informed that the unvaccinated persons or persons who have received only one dose of COVID-19 vaccine shall be allowed entry into Manipur only on mandatory production of COVID-19 negative test reports (RT-PCR or TrueNat or CB-NAAT or RAT) taken within 72 hours before their arrival.

It may be noted that the notification will be in force with immediate effect.
