158 Bn CRPF oranises Civic Action Programme

In a bid to address the needs of local communities and strengthen the bond between the security forces and the local populace, the 158 Bn CRPF today organized a Civic Action Programme at Kharam Thadoi village, located in the (AOR) of G/158 Bn CRPF.
The event was graced by the village chief, Memory in the presence of Sh Sanjay Negi, Commandant, 158 Bn CRPF, Sh Santosh Kumar Pal, 2-I/C, Sh Sumeet Kumar, Deputy Commandant and other dignitaries.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest emphasized the significance of organising such a Civic Action Programme in the village, which not only addressed the pressing needs of the villagers but also aimed to foster a stronger sense of community.
Sh Sanjay Negi, Commandant of 158 Bn CRPF, highlighted the commitment of 158 Bn CRPF, for the welfare of the local communities.
He also expressed his satisfaction of being part of the programme and reaffirmed the CRPF's commitment to serving the communities.
As part of the event, various sports items including volleyballs, volleyball nets, footballs as well as water storage tank, dustbin, solar lights were distributed to the beneficiaries.
Local residents praised the crucial role of CRPF in maintaining security and lauded the people-friendly initiatives undertaken by the force.
