Imphal, September 01 2024: Seven meritorious medical students of Manipur have been awarded the "Rajkumar Sanajaoba Singh Memorial Scholarship I, II & III" on merit cum means basis for the year 2024-25 .

The scholarship was presented during a function held at Hotel Imolesh, Old Lambulane, on Sunday.

The function was graced by Prof Longjam Usharani Devi, Director, JNIMS; Prof Kh Lokeshwar Singh, Medical Superintendent, JNIMS and Prof Ksh Achouba Songh, HOD, Department of Endocrinology, JNIMS as presidium members.

The welcome & keynote address was delivered by RK Dinesh Singh, Commissioner, Department of Agriculture while the vote of thanks was proposed by Dr RK Banashree Devi, HOD, Department of Pathology, JNIMS.

Notably, all the seven medical students will get Rs 3,000 each per month.
