Behatar Bharat campaign launched at Thoubal

Thoubal, February 23 2019:
National Students' Union of India (NSUI), a student wing of Indian National Congress, launched the 'Behatar Bharat' (Future of India) Campaign for Thoubal district today.
The campaign was initiated with the aim to bring better education and to make India an advanced country which is to be organized in different colleges.
The opening function of the campaign which will carry the message of 'Equal Education Opportunities', 'Students Rights Commission', 'End Corruption in Exams', 'English Classes', 'Reduce Fees', 'Increase Seats', 'Expand Hostel Capacity', 'End Self Financing Courses', 'Free Education for Women', 'Youth Clubs', 'India Corps', 'Scholarships for all needy Students' was attended by Keisham Meghachandra, MLA Wangkhem AC as chief guest while NSUI Manipur State president P Bankimchandra Meitei; Manipur Pradesh Youth Congress president Amir Hussain; executives of NSUI Thoubal District and Thoubal Block also attended the opening function as presidium members.
Speaking at the occasion, chief guest MLA Meghachandra said that executive members of NSUI must lead the people of State towards a progressive and civilized society adding that they should identify all the requirements of the college and the issues of the students during the campaign so that the colleges can be developed just like other national colleges.
