Tengnoupal, October 25 2024: In an ultimatum served to its neighbouring village of Langathel, the Lamlong Khullen VA has imposed a ban along two roads built under MGNREGS by Langathel village GP at Lamyengching from October 30 onwards.

A press release issued by Kh Merung, chairman and D Medun, secretary, Lamlong Khullen VA, under Machi sub-division, has accused the Langathel village GP of encroaching on land within the jurisdiction of Lamlong Khullen village at Lamyengching and building the two roads without the permission of Lamlong Khullen VA.

Strongly condemning the alleged act, the Lamlong Khullen VA has cautioned against any continued activity at the disputed site.

Further the VA has urged valley based social organisations to look into the matter.
