Imphal, October 20 2024: A song titled "Nungsijeine Ema Mahousa Lairembi" was released in a ceremony held at Loktak Hall, Manipur Press Club, Imphal.

The song was co-written by Late Waribam Meino and Waribam Ongbi Sangaijaobi.

H Raghumani, Sharmila, Keilani, Hemarani, Bidyarani, S Raghumani, Pakasana, Nganthoibi and Pushparani have lent their voices to this unique song.

The ceremony jointly organised by Sur-Tarang and Imakhol was attended by Manipur Language Advisory Board, Sahitya Academy, New Delhi, former Convenor, Nongmaithem Kirankumar; Imakhol founder president, Dr RK Gunachandra and AIR Imphal, Programme Executive, Heikrujam Devendra as presidium members.

Felicitation of the singers and offering of floral tributes to a photograph of Late Waribam Meino were the main highlights of the event.
