Self defence training for students of JNV concludes

Imphal, February 19 2025: Sarit-Sarak Association in collaboration with MIMARI has concluded a 21-days Self Defence training of Sarit Sarak being held at Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bishnupur from January 22 to February 11 .

It was an initiative wherein 100 girls of the school were trained in easy-to-learn self defence techniques.

The Sarit-Sarak Association Manipur in a release has stated that the training was conducted to boost the confidence of the girls and to make them able to act in unfavorable situations.

"In order to create awareness about the safety of the girls, such training has been organised by the association at various schools and colleges, and villages to impart basic self defence techniques to tackle real life situations and protect themselves from antisocial elements," said the association.

If any school or college wishes to train their students on the techniques of self defence, they can contact the association, said the Sarit-Sarak Association.
