Imphal, January 15 2022: Thangal Bazar Kalibari Devalaya Committee has said the petition filed against ILPS in Manipur by Amra Bangali at the Supreme Court is very unfortunate and appealed for withdrawal of the petition.

Advocate Manash Kumar Roy, member of Tax Bar Association said this at a press conference held at Manipur Press Club organised by Thangal Bazar Kalibari Devalaya Committee today and added that the ILPS was implemented in the State after a long and protracted demand raised by JCILPS and said the petition filed by Amra Bangali at the Supreme Court is highly condemnable.

He further said that the Bengali community in the State does not support the petition and appealed the organization to withdraw their PIL from the Court.
