AR conducts pre-recruitment training capsule for youths

Imphal, June 13 2024: In an effort to uplift the local community, Assam Rifles has successfully conducted a 15 days Pre-Recruitment Training Capsule for local youth of Ukhrul and Kamjong districts from May 18 to June 12, 2024 at Shangshak village, Ukhrul.

According to a release issued by PRO HQ IGAR(South), sixty motivated aspirants from Ukhrul and Kamjong districts participated in the screening test for the Pre-Recruitment Training.

Out of these, 15 candidates were selected to undergo training for the first phase of Pre-Recruitment Training Capsule.

The Pre Recruitment Training Capsule included physical and academic training by qualified instructors.

Training on mental resilience and confidence building exercises were also provided.

As part of recreational activities, games and movies were also organised.

The candidates were assessed through a final test conducted on June 12 which included a written exam and a physical test.

The local populace, especially the youth thanked the Assam Rifles for organising such a relevant and meaningful programme.
