One fresh Covid case detected

Imphal, November 11 2022: Number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state further rose to 12 on Friday with government bulletins reporting no new recovery and one new positive case from out of 122 samples tested in the last 24 hours with 0.8 per cent positivity rate.

The lone fresh case is a male resident of Imphal East district.

Out of the 12 active cases, seven are in home isolation.

No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.

So far, the virus has infected 1,39,899 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.

In the last 24 hours, 325 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,47,843, out of which 13,34,881 had received the second dose and 2,75,945 taken precautionary doses.

As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49841), Imphal East (32064), Thoubal (10298), Churachandpur (11291), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9986), Senapati (2547), Ukhrul (3370), Kakching (6981), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1057), and Pherzawl (477) .

Fatality counts in different districts are Imphal West (712), Imphal East (517), Thoubal (192), Churachandpur (169), Kangpokpi (70), Tamenglong (17), Bishnupur (206), Senapati (13), Ukhrul (52), Kakching (124), Chandel (43), Noney (5), Tengnoupal (17), Jiribam (7), Kamjong (5) and Pherzawl (0) .
