Imphal, September 01 2024: Patsoi AC MLA Sapam Kunjakeshwar (Keba) on Sunday started repairing works of Takyel Ghari Road which has been in a deplorable condition for a long time.

Speaking to media persons, Sapam Kunjakeshwar said that the road stretch from Naoremthong Ahanbi to Tiddim Road via Takyel and FCI is an important road of the State.

He asserted that the road was repaired earlier but it has deteriorated rapidly due to the recent floods and significant numbers of heavy vehicles moving on the road daily.

Stating that the road repair work will be completed by the end of September, the MLA appealed to the public to remove any structure/house constructed above the drains along the road to prevent frequent floods in the area.
