RPF calls on the people for a mass revolution

Imphal, September 24 2011: While reiterating its stand on the ongoing revolution against the India government on the occasion of its 33rd Raising Day, the proscribed UG group Revolutionary Peoples' Front (RPF) called for mass revolution against the India government for a peaceful and free Manipur.

Greeting the people of the state on the Raising Day of the party, its President, Irengbam Chaoren in a press release stated that the time has come for the people of the state to participate in the ongoing revolution against the colonial rule of India if not by taking up arms but in democratic ways or by extending cooperation with the revolutionary groups.

Unless the people of the state make their own destiny, no one will come to save the people from the colonial rule of India and free from it, he added.

Ever since Manipur was forcibly merged into the Indian Union, the dark age of Manipur began.

Moreover, the corrupt politicians in the name of serving the people helped India in their colonial process.

Huge amounts meant for the development of Manipur goes in their pocket.

They never think about the future of Manipur.

Corruption is in its highest crime in the state where a well educated youth finds it impossible to get a government job without filling the pocket of the corrupt politicians and officers.

With such irresponsible practices, many educated youths of the state have spent their lives in vain and many have drowned in the sea of drugs and intoxicants.

While many have left the state to work in big companies in other states and countries leaving the state in its miserable condition as they do not see any bright future for themelves here.

Meanwhile, India government is using drugs and intoxicants to lead astray the youth of the state, giving them no glimmer of hope of a future.

By introducing various types of drugs, they are demolishing the future of the state.

Many have become victim to such drugs and intoxicants while many innocent women are spending their lives as a widow.

On the other hand, instead of developing agricultural related industries in the state and increasing the productivity of the state, the India government has been planning to create a sense of insecurity in the minds of the people of the state by snatching huge areas of fertile agricultural lands in the name of development for building offices, schools and other structures.

Since the India government has been creating such sense of insecurity among the people, many have begun to feel that they could not survive without the help of India.

In such situation, the frequent bandh, general strikes and economic blockades along the National Highways of the state are also playing a major role in increasing this sense of insecurity.

Even when the economic blockade has entered 54 days, the India government is not doing anything for the people of the state.

It clearly shows how they use such economic blockades and general strikes as a successful tool of creating insecurity in the mind of the people of the state.

Such frequent economic blockades have been exploiting the whole people of the state every now and then since the past many years.

Meanwhile, the inactive response of the India government has led the people of different communities residing in the state on the verge of a fierce communal clash which is one of the secret agenda of India.

On the other hand, unaware to all, they are using religious factors as a tool of demolishing the traditional religion and culture of the state in the name of globalization.

In such situation, the general election held in the state every five years under the Indian Constitution has been tagging the people of the state in day dreaming with many non realistic dreams which will never comes true.

People of the state have witnessed many good persons who are willing to do something for the people of the trouble torn state.

However, all such politicians or leaders change their colours as soon as they get inducted under the Indian Constitution.

Instead of standing for the state and its people, they became the orderly of the India government and began to show their dark sides to the people of the state.

Moreover, India is using the election as a useful tool in covering the frequent human rights violations by its security forces from the rest of the world by claiming that the situation is just an internal unrest which happens under their own elected representatives.

While expressing serious concern in all such prevailing situations in the state, RPF urged the people of the state to participate in the ongoing revolutionary movement against the India government and demand for a free Manipur which was forcibly merged into the Indian Union.

It is high time the people to come out and voice their demand to the world that they do not want to remain under the colonial rule of India and its constitution.

Only then the revolutionary movement against the India government will see new rays of hope, it stated.

Meanwhile, the India government is using the Peace Talk as an effective way to tackle the revolutionary movements in the North Eastern States.

Many revolutionary groups have fallen prey to the net of peace talk of the India government and many have become almost non active after signing peace accord with the India government.

On the other hand, India government is using such peace talk in creating communal tension among the different ethnic communities residing in the NE states especially in Manipur by making them reactionary organizations who aim to degrade the revolutionary organisations.

All such peace talks ever initiated were conducted under the purview of the Indian Constitution with certain rules and conditions of the India government.

By going through such peace talks, one cannot get freedom from the Indian Constitution since no other third party like United Nations has ever been involved in any of these peace talks.

In order to strengthen the ongoing revolutionary movements against the India government initiated by the various revolutionary organizations in the state, the Coordination Committee of Seven UG groups was formed with an aim to stand united against the colonial rule and its security forces for a free Manipur.

Such steps of the revolutionary groups will inspire the various revolutionary groups in the state and strengthen the movement, it added.
