Cleanliness drive launched at Kwakta

Moirang, October 20 2024: Anjuman Islah-E Maushra Kwakta and civil society organisations in Kwakta have launched a mass cleanliness drive at several areas under Kwakta Municipal Council today.

The cleanliness drive was launched by Anjuman Islah-E Maushra Kwakta's newly elected president Moulana Nongjaimayum Abul Kalam, vice president Moulana Sahidur Rahaman Quasmi and general secretary Moulana Islamuddin Epham.

Members of Jamiat Ulama Bishnupur district, All Kwakta Co-Ordinating Committee, All Kwakta Youth Voluntary Organisation, All Meitei Pangal Youth Association, All Meitei Pangal United Voluntary Organisation Kwakta and staff of Kwakta Municipal Council took part in the drive.

The members of the CSOs and volunteers conducted the drive at Kwakta Terakhong, Tiddim roadsides, Kwakta Bazar.
