Kakching, August 19 2024: The Writers of Manipur (WOM) offered prayers at the shrine of Ema Ayangleima Panthoibi at Wabagai Terapishak, Hiyanglam during a worship ceremony held from 9 am to 11:30 am today.

The worship ceremony was held with the help of Ema Ayangleima Thougallup to pray for long life.

It may be noted that WOM has organised similar worship ceremonies at various shrines in collaboration with the concerned "Lai Committee" or "Thougallup".

It has also recently completed its 99th aid extension initiative to village volunteers.

Later on, during a meeting, Writers of Manipur discussed its journey with the meira paibis of Terapishak as well as office bearers of Ema Ayangleima Thougallup.

Meanwhile, the meira paibis and the Thougallup also shared their contribution in providing various means of assistance during the ongoing conflict.

Huidrom Biren, leader, Ema Ayangleima Thougallup presided over the meeting while Birendrajit Naorem, Dhamen, Othello, Herojit, Ngambi, Sanayaima and other members of Writers of Manipur were also in attendance.
