Assam Rifles provides humanitarian aid to IDPs

Imphal, June 13 2024:
Assam Rifles, under the aegis of Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South) on Wednesday distributed daily essential items to the Internally Displaced People (IDPs) staying in the relief camp opened at S Kwatlian village, Churachandpur District.
According to a release issued by PRO HQ IGAR (S), the event held at the relief camp was attended by 97 IDPs, including 30 children, 42 women and 25 men.
During the event, the soldiers of Assam Rifles interacted with the locals, reassuring them of their commitment to the well-being of the people of Manipur.
They also assured to continue providing all possible assistance to those in need.
The essential items were distributed as a part of Assam Rifles' ongoing efforts to reach out to IDPs and provide humanitarian assistance to those affected by the conflict.
