MBC Quinquennial Congress 2025 begins at Chandel

Chandel, February 08 2025: The four-day Quinquennial Congress 2025 of the Manipur Baptist Convention kicked off yesterday at Angchang Ground, Chandel Christian village and Lambung Baptist Church hosted by Anal Naga Baptist Association (ANBA) under the theme "Blessing" (Genesis 12:1-3) .

The Congress is set to conclude on February 10.According to a press release issued by ANBA, the monument unveiling ceremony of the MBC Quinquennial Congress 2025 took place at Living Hope Theological College (LHTC) ANBA undertaking ministry located at Modi village, Chandel.

The monument was unveiled by Rev Dr Akheto Sema, general secretary, CBCNEI and the Congress Hall was also dedicated later in the evening.

This was followed by the inaugural evening service during which a procession of all associations under MBC with their respective flags took place.

The MBC Quinquennial official flag was hosted by Rev Dr Mathotmi Vasha, president MBC.

Subsequently, Rev Dr SR Onesima, president, ANBA, welcomed the congregation.

Later, Rev Losii Mao, general secretary, MBC delivered his sermon on the Quinquennial Theme Exegesis "Blessing" from Genesis 12:1-3 for peace, harmony, love and unity.

The inaugural evening service witnessed a congregation of over 3,000 delegates and local members.
