Imphal, September 06 2026: Prime Minister Jan Arogya Yojna (PMJAY) health cards were distributed to 669 residents of Lamjao Gram Panchayat under Hiyanglam Assembly Constituency today.

The health cards were distributed by National People's Party, NPP Manipur State Unit General Secretary (Organisation) Maibam Dhanabir during a programme held at Lamjao Mayai Leikai Panthoibi community hall.

Speaking on the programme, Maibam Dhanabir highlighted the benefits of PMJAY card.

The PMJAY card holders may avail free treatments upto Rs 5 lakhs and this provides relief to many poor households in times of need.

Distributing the PMJAY cards to the residents of Lamjao Mayai Leikai, Lamjao Makha Leikai and Lamjao Awang Leikai, Dhanbir assured to help those individuals in need that they receive the due benefits of the scheme under PMJAY .
