'Laining Ngak Senba Numit' to be observed

Imphal, August 03 2025: Kangla Phamthou 64 and All India KanglaPakhangba Temple Development Society will be observing the "Laining Ngak Senba Numit" on August 22, 2025 at Kangla Laiphamlel Imphal.

Speaking to the media at Manipur Press Club today, Kangla Phamthou 64 secretary general Wayenbam Birenkumar Moirangcha said that "Laining Ngak Senba Numit' is observed every year to commemorate the day in 1947 when Maharaj Bodhachandra revived and promoted the indigenous Meitei religion, puya and communal integration in Manipur.

He informed that the observance will be presided over by Leishemba Sanjaoba, Rajya Sabha MP and titular King of Manipur.

Birenkumar also appealed to ail the communities to participate in the event.
