KNF raising day echoes necessity to help people during the pandemic

Kangpokpi, May 20 2020:
Suspension of Operation signatory and an entity of the tripartite talk, Kuki National Front (KNF) and the non-SoO KNF-N group observed its 33rd raising day on May 18 .
The oldest Kuki militant outfits in Manipur, KNF observed its rising day at Ebenezer Peace Camp, Natheljang without the participation of the public.
Leading the rising day observation, the outfit home secretary, Jangboi Kipgen hoisted the 'Kuki national flag' .
The outfit's cadres also paid tribute to its founder Late Nehlun Kipgen and fallen comrades.
Addressing the presidential address on behalf of the outfit, Aaron Kipgen, general secretary, KNF who is also the spokesperson of the United People's Front (UPF), an umbrella organization of the various Kuki militant's outfit under talks with the Governments said that "we have to be confident and have faith in our goal" .
KRA-U chairman, David Chongloi also motivated the cadres to stay away from drugs and intoxicant things to stay healthy and fit all the time.
Jangboi Kipgen, who is also the defence in-charge, advised all the cadres to strictly follow the Government directives to help themselves and the people in containing the deadly pandemic COVID-19 .
Rising day gift was also present to the KRA-U leaders and cadres during the rising day observation which was culminated with Gospel inspiration from the Chaplain and mass prayer.
Meanwhile, the non-SoO Kuki National Front-Nehlun group also observed its 33rd raising day at its general Headquarters at Daitwi Base Camp.
Late Nehlun Kipgen founded the organization at Molnoi village in Indo-Myanmar border.
The raising day was observed in the presence of the outfit deputy chief-in-command Josh Kuki.
