Protest staged against unreasonable monetary demands

Thoubal, May 21 2024: Protesting against the unreasonable monetary demands by unidentified miscreants on private hospitals, pharmacies and small business establishments, a sit-in protest was staged at Khangabok Bazar today.

The sit-in protest was jointly organized by VEDSCO Khangabok and Apunba Meira Paibi Lup Khangabok.

Speaking on the sidelines, one of the protestors urged all concerned to refrain from demanding unreasonable monetary demands upon these healthcare institutes and business establishments as business and related activities have incurred immense loss due to the prevailing conflict.

Highlighting that such demands add more woes to the already affected people, she appealed to all concerned to refrain from making these outrageous demands for the welfare of all.
