One new case, one recovery reported

Imphal, December 03 2022: Number of active cases of Covid-19 in the state stands at 5 as on Saturday, with government bulletins reporting one recovery and one new case from out of 71 samples tested in the last 24 hours with a positivity rate of 1.4 per cent.

The lone fresh case is a female resident of Imphal West district.

Out of the five active cases, three are in home isolation.

No death case was reported in the last 24 hours and the toll stands at 2149 including seven CAPF personnel.

So far, the virus has infected 1,39,919 individuals including 5,022 CAPF personnel.

In the last 24 hours, 94 vaccine doses were administered and it took the cumulative number of vaccinated people to 16,48,494, out of which 13,36,881 had received the second dose and 2,78,967 taken precautionary doses.

As per data maintained by The People's Chronicle based on IDSP and CCR reports, number of total cases in different districts are Imphal West (49849), Imphal East (32066), Thoubal (10299), Churachandpur (11294), Kangpokpi (3188), Tamenglong (3497), Bishnupur (9987), Senapati.

(2548), Ukhrul (3372), Kakching (6982), Chandel (2797), Noney (1173), Tengnoupal (1214), Jiribam (1118), Kamjong (1058), and Pherzawl (477) .
