PTFC-19 continues organising awareness programmes

As part of its routine programme, the Peoples' Task Force for COVID-19 (PTFC-19) in collaboration with the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS), Manipur State Branch and Association for Health Care Providers of India organised an awareness programme on COVID-19 at Kangchup Chiru Community Hall, today.
The programme was organised with help from Kangchup Chiru Youth Club, Kangpokpi.
PTFC-19, co-convenor, N Bimol; IRCS Manipur State Branch, Chairman, Dr Y Mohen; IRCS, Imphal East, chairman, Narendra Ningomba; Village Chairman of Kangchup Chiru, TR Jacob and IRCS, Manipur State Branch, secretary Dr S Sunil attended the programme as presidum members.
A similar programme was also organised at Laipham Khunou Makha Leikai and Keishampat Aheibam Leirak.
At the Keishampat's function, Dr Goutam, member of Expert Committee, IMA, said that following the guidelines of experts and the State Government is the only way to stay away from the virus for now.
Dr Haraba, Assistant District Surveillance Officer, Imphal West, said that dearth of RAT's kits in the State might affect efforts being made to contain the virus from further spread.
