PREPAK to celebrate 37th Red Army Uprising Day tomorrow

Imphal, March 25 2017: Proscribed group People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak is all set to celebrate the 37th Uprising Day of its armed wing Red Army.

Sethy in his message ahead of the celebration pray the people of the region to support the armed struggle until it reaches the destination.

In a lengthy press statement made available to media houses in the state, the outfit said that the 37th Uprising Day of the army wing of PREPAK will be celebrated at its General Head Quarter, Technical Head Quarter, Unit Head Quarters, Base area and training centers.

Recalling on how the Red Army uprising day is being celebrated on March 26, the Chairman statement narrated that in March 26, 198 at around 10.15 am cadres of the outfit attack a security team led by the then commandant of CRPF Misra near the then old district hospital at Khwaramband Keithel.

It said one Havildar was killed and the cadres recovered three 303 rifles.

The cadres also successfully attack the security forces at Moirang and Lamlai too.

Combining the entire event, the PREPAK celebrate March 26 as the uprising day of the Red Army, the armed wing of the revolutionary group, the statement said.

On the socio-economic condition of the people of the state, The Chairman of the outfit said that in these 68 years under the administration of the government of India Manipur has been made a completely dependent state.

The bondage of blood relations between various ethnic communities of the state has been divided by inciting hate feeling among the people and 139 days of economic blockade in the National Highway had put the people at ransom.

It said when North Korea was sanctioned by USA work culture has been improved and North Korea become a nuclear power country.

Sethy warn the Indian regime that such thing may happen in the state of this erstwhile kingdom.
