CCpr/Chd/Kak/Kpi/Non/Phz/Tpl, September 23 2026: Various activities are being undertaken across the districts in the State as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026 .

Churachandpur

The District Administration, Churachandpur, organised a Seva Setu Abhiyan camp at the Conference Hall of the SDO/ BDO Office today.

Twelve government departments set up service counters at the venue, providing citizens access to various welfare schemes and public services without having to visit different offices separately.

The Department of Horticulture distributed mulching plastic, compost and beehives to beneficiaries and provided information on various horticulture-related schemes and support.

A large number of people also enrolled for health cards under the Chief Minister-gi Hakselgi Tengbang (CMHT) and Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY).

The Health Department conducted a free health camp, offering medical consultations, medicines and basic laboratory investigations.

The Malaria Department also carried out free screening for typhoid and dengue.

The Social Welfare Department facilitated registrations under schemes including Ima Nongthangleima Yaipha Tengbang, widow pension and old-age pension while the Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM) conducted an awareness programme on upcoming skill-development training and enrolled interested participants.

Chandel

School students in Chandel district participated in painting, essay and elocution competition as part of the Seva Mera Yogdan Program under the theme 'My Vision of Viksit Manipur'.

In another initiative, the Divisional Forest Officer, Chandel distributed saplings to various schools for plantation as part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.

Kakching

A health and nutrition awareness programme under the 'Aangan Ka Utsav' initiative was organised at Anganwadi Centre, Kakching Part IV Mayai Leikai, by the ICDS Cell and ICDS Project, Kakching under the overall supervision of the District Administration Kakching.

An awareness session on health and nutrition for children and Anganwadi workers was conducted, highlighting the importance of proper nutrition and healthy practices for children's growth and development.

Also, a nutrition awareness programme was held at Lamjao Awang Leikai organised by Ayushman Arogya Mandir (AAM), Mayeng Lamjao, Kakching district.

On the other hand, the Zonal Education Office, Kakching, under the supervision of the District Administration, Kakching, continued the series of student activities under the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026 at various educational institutions across the district today.

Kangpokpi

As part of the nationwide 'Seva Sankalp Abhiyan' under the 'Aangan Ka Utsav' initiative, medical officers conducted official visits to various Anganwadi centres in the Kangpokpi Sub- Division (Wards 11 & 3) and Kalapahar Anganwadi centre under the Champhai SubDivision.

The visits focused on community outreach, raising awareness on maternal and child nutrition, promoting sanitization, and prioritizing infant health through the network of Anganwadi centres.

The outreach program witnessed enthusiastic participation from the concerned ICDS Supervisor, Medical Officers-in-Charge, ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers, and local parents, among others.

Noney

On the second day of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan campaign, the Zonal Education Office, (ZEO) Noney, under the supervision of the District Administration, Noney organised a painting and essay competition at 25 different schools across Noney district under the theme "My Vision of Vikshit Manipur-2047" today.

A total of 270 students participated in the competition.

As part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan activities, an interaction session with health care workers and Asha workers was also held at Haochong PHC, Rangkhung and at other health care centres in the district under the supervision of the District Administration, Noney.

On the other hand, an awareness and sensitization program on substance abuse was conducted at Tengkonjang Higher Secondary School , Domini English School and St Joseph School Noney.

A mass pledge taking ceremony against drugs was also held during the function.

The event was jointly organised by District Administration Noney and District Social Welfare Officer ( DSWO) under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) in collaboration with Zonal Education Office ( ZEO), Noney.

Pherzawl

The ongoing month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, witnessed a series of community-oriented activities across Pherzawl district today, with programmes focusing on nutrition awareness, unity, nationbuilding, student participation and environmental conservation.

As part of Anganwadi Ka Utsav, nutrition awareness programmes were organised at Anganwadi Centres in Tuisen, Henchungpunji and other centres by the concerned ICDS officials in collaboration with ASHAs and Anganwadi Workers.

Meanwhile, a mass foot march was organised by the Office of the BDO, Parbung.

The march conveyed messages of unity, public service, cleanliness and nation-building and was flagged off from Parbung Main Bazar in the presence of the District Administration officials, village authorities and local CSO leaders.

The campaign also reached schools, where painting and essay writing competitions were organised at Tuipiphai Aided School.

At Pherzawl Government High School, an elocution competition was held, with students speaking on themes of service to the nation and Viksit Bharat.

In another initiative, the Pherzawl Forest Division, in collaboration with the District Administration, conducted a sapling distribution programme and roadside plantation drive at Pherzawl Village aimed at promoting environmental awareness and community involvement in protecting and conserving the environment.

Tengnoupal

The Zonal Education Office, Tengnoupal under the supervision of the District Administration, Tengnoupal has conducted competitions including painting, essay writing and elocution at Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Awasiya Vidyalaya, Heinoukhong under Machi Block and Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) Moreh in Tengnoupal district as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan 2026 .

The competition was aimed to provide students a platform to express their ideas, creativity and aspirations for a developed Manipur.

The competition witnessed a large turn out from the students community.
