Imphal, April 20 2025: The 82nd birth anniversary of Late Oinam Baldeva was observed yesterday at Loktak Hall, Manipur Press Club, Imphal.

The commemorative event organised by the Oinam Baldeva Memorial Trust, Keishamthong Elangbam was graced by dignitaries, including Ksh Jugindro, Member, North East Zone Cultural Centre and East Zone Cultural Centre, Ministry of Culture, Government of India; Oinam Nabakanta Singh, chairman, Oinam Baldeva Memorial Trust and Manipur State Kala Akademi Awardee Dr L Gojendra.

As part of the event, the Oinam Baldeva Lifetime Achievement Award 2025 was presented to Hijam Shyamdhani.

The gathering also offered floral tributes to a photograph of Oinam Baldeva.
