Senapati DC chairs meeting on Stop Diarrhoea Campaign

Senapati, July 19 2024: The Chairman of District Health Society/Deputy Commissioner, Senapati Mamoni Doley, IAS chaired a meeting of the District Level Coordination Committee on Stop Diarrhoea Campaign, 2024 today at DC Chamber, Senapati.

During the meeting, the chairman DHS, Senapati took stock of the ongoing Stop Diarrhoea campaign in the district which was launched on July 17, 2024 and will continue till August 31, 2024 .

The chairman directed all concerned to take proper analysis of the data during the campaign.

She also suggested that a preparatory meeting should be held ahead of any programme for smooth conduct.

As a part of the campaign, Medical Officers of various Health Centres along with ASHA and Angawandi workers will be distributing Zinc tablets and ORS to children of every household between the age group of 0-5 years.

The children will be taught the importance of handwashing and its proper techniques.

It may be noted that Zinc and ORS comers will be opened in all the health centres.
