Final electoral rolls of Imphal East, Imphal West published

In accordance with the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960, the final Electoral Rolls of the 10 Assembly Constituencies of Imphal East district and 13 Assembly Constituencies of Imphal West district have been published today, September 6, 2026, with July 1, 2026 as the qualifying date, in connection with the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) as per the schedule fixed by the Election Commission of India.
In Imphal East, the rolls of 1-Khundrakpam, 2-Heingang, 3-Khurai, 4-Kshetrigao, 5-Thongju, 6-Keirao, 7-Andro, 8-Lamlai, 14-Yaiskul and 15-Wangkhei have been published by the respective Electoral Registration Officers.
The total electorate of the district as on September 6, 2026 is 3,19,396.The constituency-wise break-up is: Khundrakpam - 26,264; Heingang - 33,887; Khurai - 35,864; Kshetrigao - 36,860; Thongju - 32,402; Keirao - 29,172; Andro - 36,430; Lamlai - 29,861; Yaiskul - 25,881 and Wangkhei - 32,775.In Imphal West, the final electoral rolls of 13 Assembly Constituencies: 9-Thangmeiband, 10-Uripok, 11-Sagolband, 12-Keishamthong, 13-Singjamei, 16-Sekmai(SC), 17-Lamsang, 18-Konthoujam, 19-Patsoi, 20-Langthabal, 21-Naoriya Pakhanglakpa, 22-Wangoi and 23-Mayang Imphal - have been published by all EROs falling within the jurisdiction of the DEO/DC, Imphal West.
The total electorate after final publication is 3,78,583 .
The rolls will be displayed for seven days from September 6 in all polling stations and offices of the EROs concerned for public inspection.
They are also available on the Chief Electoral Officer Manipur's website https://ceomanipur.nic.in .
Electors have been advised to check the final rolls and, if required, submit applications for inclusion, modification or deletion through online or offline modes.
Meanwhile, Electoral Roll Observer/ Commissioner-cum-Secretary (SW) Robert Singh Kshetrimayum visited Imphal East on September 5 for the third and final round and chaired a meeting convened by the District Election Officer/Deputy Commissioner with representatives of National/State political parties, representatives/PPS to MLAs and all EROs and AEROs of Imphal East district.
An appeal, if any, may be raised to the first Appellate Authority, the District Election Officer and a second appeal against the decision of the first Appellate Authority shall lie with the Chief Electoral Officer in the manner prescribed under Rule 27 of the Registration of Electors Rules, 1960 .
