'Nupa Khubak Eshei' workshop cum production concludes

Imphal, July 03 2022: The valedictory ceremony of the 15-day workshop cum production of 'Nupa Khubak Eshei' was held today at Bamon Kampu Makha Leikai community hall today.

It may be noted that the workshop was organised by Eastern Artiste Association under the supervision of CFPGS, Ministry of Culture, Government of India.

The valedictory function was attended by P Bilash Singh, Director, JN Dance Academy; Dr Dhanabir Laishram, president, Eastern Artiste Association; Th Ibohal Singh, retd guru JN Dance Academy and P Inaobi Singh, principal Stephen Hr Secondary School as the chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively.

Speaking on the occasion, P Bilash Singh shared that 'nupa khubak eshei' as an artform is one that is usually performed during the Kang festival.

Highlighting the various artforms of the State, he said that Manipur is very rich in culture and hence urged the people to render their support to the artforms of Manipur that pose as cultural signifiers on the world stage.
