RIMS organises Swachhta Health Camp

The Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, today organised a Swachhta Health Camp under the Swachhta Action Plan 2024-25 at Sawombung Community Hall, Imphal East.
According to a release issued by RIMS, a medical team including specialist doctors from various departments such as Obstetrics and gynecology, Paediatrics, ENT, PMR, Medicine, and Eye Care, provided free consultations to about 230 patients during the camp.
Those in need were also' provided with free medications, ensuring access to essential treatments.
The initiative saw participation from RIMS doctors, staff and students, emphasizing on enhancing the health and well-being of underserved populations.
The health camp provided much-needed medical assistance, health screenings, and raised awareness about hygiene and sanitation, which are essential in displacement settings, where access to regular healthcare services is often limited.
The event concluded with positive feedback from participants, who expressed gratitude for the medical support and guidance provided.
RIMS, Imphal, reaffirmed its dedication to organizing similar outreach programs to improve public health and hygiene standards across the State.
