Imphal, December 23, 2011:
The proscribed UG group RPF, in a press statement, extended its warm greetings to the people of the state who follow Christianity on the occasion of
Christmas, the day on which the saviour of the mankind Jesus Christ was born to virgin Mary.
In the statement, RPF stated that Manipur is a land of diversity in which
people of different communities and religion live together peacefully.
Even though people have adopted different religions according to their wish, they are united
when it comes to any threat to the integrity of Manipur.
In such a land of diversity many vested interest persons or leaders are following the footpaths of the Indian
colonialist who are indulging in liquidating the small communities in the state.
People should be aware of the motive of the enemy who are trying their best to
disintegrate the unity of the people of the state and keep the state under the clutch of their colonial rule, it stated and appealed to the people in both plain and
hills to unite and pray for a peaceful Manipur.
